What's a shoe blog without a mention of the above.  An oldie but goodie from Alexander McQueen's spring 2010 line.  Reminds me of my pointe shoe days in ballet.  These shoes are revolutionary!  Long live the late and great McQueen!

Sam Edelman 'Pierce' Riding Boots

The Sam Edelman 'Pierce' riding boot is a must must have for this season.  Sam Edelman makes a really comfortable shoe and this flat boot is sensible for the winter.  The structured riding boot is a more sleek and refined approach to the last seasons slouchy boot.  I especially love the snap buttons and buckles.  The leather is really high quality and will be durable throughout the season.  This boot is definitely on my Christmas list.  Size 8.5 please!  Available at Nordstrom's.
